Biography
Unctuous, obsequious, and sanguine, Slick's everybody's best friend...until he isn't. Despite a friendly attitude and an exceedingly tolerant nature, he's a creature with only his own best interests at heart. He knows everything about everyone, and he's fully capable of buttering up just about anybody to get what he wants. As the clan's principal gossipmonger, he's a veritable chatterbox that's always looking to ensnare someone in a conversation. The older, wiser dragons know better than to provide him with any ammunition, but the young and impetuous have a tendency to fall victim to his affable machinations. Of himself he has a great many stories to tell, but whether any of those tales are true or not is anyone's guess.
For all his ploys and deceptive tactics, he does not seem to mean the clan any harm. Certainly he does not appear to hold any ill-will against any of the dragons there, and does not go out of his way to cause inordinate amounts of trouble. There is safety and security to be found in numbers, after all, and he has no intention of having to hunt for his own supper. He is a favorite of Astarte and Hadad, but while he can be found often in their presence, it is unlikely that he holds them any true loyalty; he is fundamentally incapable of caring about anyone other than himself.
