history
He grew quickly tired of the deep cold and stark white surroundings of his childhood; what was here for him? For the young imperial it had grown into nothing more than a cold terrain, and although it was beautiful he couldn't help but yearn to leave. As soon as he grew into his adulthood, Midnighthour made his way from the humble beginnings he received in the Southern Icefields, setting course to stake his place in the Starfall Isles.For quite a long time he was nothing but a vagabond, a young dragon far too in over his head. After several months of wandering, he found an open wilderness that he could begin to pioneer for himself. It took time, as most things do, but eventually dragons came to settle down with Midnighthour, forming the beginning of a clan. Evermore quickly became the accepted name for their little group, and as they grew that name lasted just as Midnighthour remained the leader, or commander, rather. For a time, his rule was absolute. Few questioned him, and fewer thought to speak against him--with Vega, his mystic partner in rule, by his side, he maintained high levels of power that few argued with. His personal guard and coliseum partners, Vega and ColdSnap, only grounded his power further. Even his line was secured; despite the countless numbers of his children who fled to exaltation, a select few remained and ensured his blood line could never die. However, the very children he predicted to be his heirs gradually became his downfall. |
