Redwing

Haemos and Flashwing may be the reigning couple of the Blood Court, but Redwing is its herald. The son of Dart, a foreigner to the Court, and Scourge, daughter of the reigning couple, Redwing bears a pattern on his wing membranes similar to the Plague rune, and thus, while carrying messages for the Blood Court, often fans them out like flags or pennants. He bears the hide and feathers of an Alpha Red-Breasted Hainu, and one of the slain creature's underlings still protects Redwing, knowing full well that the creature under the hide is not its original master, but remaining loyal to the dragon nonetheless, for, if one was so powerful as to slay one's master, why not pledge your loyalty? Redwing never meant to trick the creature, and views its loyalty as a fair bonus to his status as harbinger of the Blood Court. He has recently become the official mate of Wylde the Huntress, sharing his peculiar approach to hainu taming. Unfortunately, due to sharing Flashwing as a common ancestor, the pair cannot breed, but theirs is a love that transcends the mere need to reproduce.
