Phalanx is a Nocturne, born in the Tangled Wood. Unlike most of his breathern, Phalanx is anything but a shy and introverted dragon, and he enjoys expressing himself and making new friends, especially those of different species. Because the vast majority of Nocturne dragons live in the Wood, Phalanx decided to leave his home for less inhabited lands.

It was a long journey finding his way to the Ashfall Waste. Phalanx traveled all over the world to try to find a place to call home, but it didn't take quite as long to figure out what he wanted do do with his time. As he traveled, he discovered a passion for the architecture of various lairs, especially those that could be built from large rock expanses. His original plan was to stay in Dragonhome until he heard of how unique the rock was in the land of the Flamecaller.

Once he arrived, he fell in love with the way he could build and create using the Waste's volcanic rock, and he searched for a home to call his own. Though the lair of Clan Aves was nearly complete, renovations were needed. Phalanx took a place within the clan, and helped to create the lair seen here today, always with plans for the future in mind.
