History
Hatched in a clan far away in the sweet seas of aroma and comfort of the Everbloom Gardens, Congo was found alone in an empty lair on one of Agua and Fluto's adventures through the jungles.The two were young and without their own younglings then, and in their compassion, decided to take Congo in as their very own. They'd raise him as their true son, for him to be none the wiser about - until a vision would come to him many years later to tell him the truth. Agua and Fluto were good parents to him, rearing him up alongside another adopted dragonling from the great green gardens; a shy Pearlcatcher named Ousler. The two of them were two of Fluto and Agua's first children, and were deeply spoiled and beloved for it. Neither grew up be overly rambunctious, aging into maturity with soft-hearted parents had made them prone to soft-heartedness themselves. Congo himself often had vivid dreams while he slept, sometimes resulting in premonition or supernatural wisdom. As he grew older, he delved into studies of the other realms and practiced at attuning his skills until he was finally able to call premonitions nearly at will. He built his own meditation hall in the lair, filling it with plates of burning incense that calls to the spiritual abilities in dragons, and strange artifacts and objects that assist in spiritual healing and exploration. There are a few dragons within the clan that possess an ability to commune with the other realm, but none have refined that talent quite like Congo. A bit of a hermit, he spends time either with Ousler or alone in his meditation hall, rather than with the rest of the clan. During meditation, he studies the spirit world within his visions, and while he sleeps, he studies them in his dreams. Dragons of the lair go to him for spiritual advice and guidance, and he even claims to sometimes be contacted by the Deities themselves. He'll often leave the clan for great stretches of time to rejoin the shadowed woodlands of his birth. But when the trees begin to quake and yaw, and the entanglements of the lost balloon sway into view, everyone knows he's come back home.
