Father of Lukas and Coraline.

Born from a Lightning clan with a history of bird descents, Tak has always had a strange fondness towards avians of any type and has a habit of collecting and hoarding bird related trinkets around the territory. He also has a strong love for family - especially children, and very often helps out around the nesting grounds, watching over and warming the eggs, sometimes with Braith. One of his dreams is to have hatchlings of his own someday, as he gets along and cares very well with them.

Tak is only really seen smiling around certain dragons, whilst he's caring for eggs or hatchlings, or overlooking his hoards. Sometimes he classes himself as a prince or royalty, but none others really understand why. He is also a very handsome tall Skydancer even though his colours are dark and his movement is very effeminate. He has been known to keep mostly to himself or if not interact with other dragons as a higher power. He can be very egotistical because of this.

Oddly enough, Tak has an unfortunate love for seafood... that he can't eat, and tends to get sick from eating it regardless. Because of this, he invests in eating alternative insect treats that taste fishy.

Sometimes Tak finds himself in his birth clan, and through interesting encounters he has laid eyes upon a younger dragon he is both fascinated in and has destined to befriend and become mates to. He's now completely lovesick over her.

After spending months hanging around the nesting grounds, the mating dragons of the clan grew comfortable with Tak and on occasions he has helped out with nesting mothers to safely deliver their eggs and hatch their offspring - much like the attributes his breed is known to possess. Rin noticed this and after a discussion appointed Tak to play the role of the clan's midwife, to with happiness he accepted and now is found usually in the nesting grounds when nests are coming and going.

{02/06/15} - On this day Tak unearthed an abandoned egg whilst astray from the clan, and immediately he took it in and brooded over the unhatched dragon baby until the day it arrived.
{07/06/15} - The egg hatched into a little male Imperial which Tak named Lukas, and he started to raise the child as his own. The new father though would forever be disgusted in how the egg was left, but was thankful he came across and saved the life of the brilliant being inside.

Lukas was born with two different colours in his eyes, and at the beginning Tak and a few of the other dragons were worried the Imperial might have difficulties with his element, and most fearful of all growing up, as none of them had encountered a dragon quite like him before. Tak grew very protective of Lukas and both cared and nurtured for him until he was old enough to fend for himself. With relief there were no problems with the boy as he grew older, but even past the age of independence, the Skydancer father still catered for him, and the two are usually seen fairly close. Tak is very proud of how his adoptive offspring matured.

Tak found a plump little bird perching around the clan's lair one evening, and in an effort to protect the young creature from the meat-eating dragons of the ward and survey the colourful Percher, he approached and allowed the mindless bird to slowly flutter down and nestle into his feathers. Upon then Tak recognised his new friend as a she, and named her Pippa. She is almost always found nested into his shoulder or somewhere else on his back or feathers. He has had to tame his previous familiar to not see her as prey. There has been a few early close shaves since she joined the family with that.
