Bloodstone is a powerful bloodmage, a dragon that trades her own life essence to create powerful spells and enchantments. This leads her to the clan’s apothecary more often than not, and she is uncommon even for a wildclaw in that she prefers to drink cooked blood from the creatures that the clan hunts. This is not due to vampirism, but simply because it is the most efficient way for her body to obtain the nutrients necessary to replace her own blood, which is turned directly into magical energy.

While she is incredibly powerful, the long-term effects of blood magic have caused her to have an impaired healing process. She sometimes has to wait weeks or months for simple cuts and bruises to heal. It’s worth it for the power she commands, though, as she has on more than one occasion created a spell that has led directly to the destruction of a Beastclan threat.

She is good friends with most of the clan, but some find her appearance disturbing. She does her best to look like any other Wildclaw, but the permanent bright red markings on her scales always give away her discipline.
