Eluvian cultivates an air of understated elegance about herself. She is not like her brother who demands attention and respect; instead she is more mysterious - knowing - even as she privately considers herself superior to every other. This quiet vanity leads to an unsettling surety in her actions and beliefs. She is very intelligent, that is clear, and seems due more respect than her brother given her sedate behavior. But at the same time there is something about her that feels... untrustworthy.

She seduced Shasi, one of Nix's consorts, and from their union was born two hatchlings. One grew up perfectly respectable. The other, however, lingers in the shadow clan to make Nix uncomfortable with his dark visage and intent looks. This pleases Eluvian deeply.
