Biography
The Plague Elemental
Cassiel's origins are similar to others that hail from the plague flight. The day to day struggle mainly consisted of trying to find food in a landscape where that was scarce. He had access to a few powers of note, and used those gifts to help him survive while he was there. Then he ran into a traveling group of dragons from the Limitless clan and they apparently sensed something about him, as they were clamoring for him to return to their lair with them.
It was then he found he was an elemental, and had already mastered a few elements, though hadn't realized it. Given that the element being used is denoted by eye color typically and there is a distinct lack of anything reflective in the Scarred Wasteland, it's not difficult to see how this escaped him. Plus he'd been blasting foes with gales of wind and firing beams of focused mana for a long time by that point, so it was easy to think he was just genetically different. However, in reality he was something much more.
Since going to the island, there hasn't been a remarkable shift in his personality. He went through the so called "Stuff Your Maw" phase some plague dragons go through when they reach an area of abundance, had a small spike in his waistline and went back to being surely, obnoxious and crude shortly thereafter. He has formed a bond of sorts with Fiore, perhaps due to their similar backstories and places of origin. Cassiel looks to the elder imperial for stories, and said elder sees much promise in the young warrior.
