Bakkhai is the adopted son of Emrys and Patience of Mosscairn. Bakkhai has a natural talent for music, much like his father. He is best at the lute, the first instrument Emrys taught him, and is also capable with the harp and lyre. As he was hatched and raised in a multi-species clan, Bakkhai understands the concept of humour quite well and unlike most Faes, who are monotonous, has an actual tone of voice that he expresses his feelings and personality through. In mannerism, he is admittedly more like a Coatl than a Fae, and is always trying to teach his mate Lyriad how to understand jokes (sadly, it is in vain.)

He is mischievous and cheerful, though has a tendency to laziness, as he has an easy vocation which does not require him to leave the coziness of home territory.
