Aiban

Aiban is slithery and rapsy, he laughs at a high and cackling pitch. Sometimes he chants old spells over knucklebones under a harvest moon. He snickers and compulsively claws at the ground and no one really knows where he came from.

Aiban is also a very good father. For all the lazy love the clan shows their children, Aiban takes care of them. He chides them gently and tells them old legends and soothes them when they're scared. No hatchling is unimportant to him, no matter how brief their stay. When any dragon (but especially a hatchling) is set up to be exalted, Aiban sets aside the week before their exaltation to treat them extra-specially, giving them as much love and friendship and care as possible before their end.

He gets along very well with Lune and Boudica, and understands how hard the job of executioner is for them. All three work together to try and make it as pain-free as they can.

Aiban has never been under Daski and Tsen's lead, but his close friendship with Boudica and Lune and his pleasant acquaintance with Savo and Dren places him solidly on their side should issue ever rise.
