Thermal

For a dragon born Plague, Thermal's quite a kindhearted creature. He was found as an egg by Altitude, who took to herself the responsibility of raising him. He can sometimes be violent, and his temper is quick to strike and something to be feared, but any hurt he may have caused, he is always deeply sorry for afterwards. Thermal is not that bright, but he is fiercely protective of his adopted mother Altitude, and very tender towards all members of the clan.
Thermal had difficulty feeling a true member of the Wind clan and flight, and he still feels his difference keenly. He's made a tremendous effort to become a part of it, however, and is a valued member of the clan.
The hatchlings are particularly fond of the big Guardian, and he often cares for them when the other grown dragons are hunting or battling. He finds it easier to control his eruptive temper when around the new-hatched young, and tries to spend as much time with the puffs as possible. When not taking care of chicks, Thermal keeps watch over the clan hoard or digs for new artifacts to add to its bulk.
