The Scientist
Oscar is also one of Miriam's proteges, and is one of the few who have found usefulness outside of the grotto: he directly and unequivocally serves and advances the interest of the Stormcatcher. Although he was born of Ice, he was abandoned as an infant and was raised entirely by Miriam in the 'Catcher's realm, and thus he was pardoned and allowed to utilize the tools of the area to pursue a greater knowledge and understanding of the world and its energies. On occasion he returns to the grotto to share his latest discoveries with his peers, and to also be with his mate, Servana, who has also chosen a life abroad.
