Chimes is a nervous dragon. He often flutters about the Lair, hardly staying in one place for too long and using his movement as an outlet for his anxiety.
He has a peaceful side to him, which comes out when he is worshipping the Windsinger or enjoys quiet sunrises in the clouds, riding on the back of his much larger familiar.
Chimes's den is in the air, a series of paper balloons tethered to each other and to the tall, thick bamboo reeds jutting up out of the Expanse. He enjoys the birds and insects that sometimes visit him in his floating home, but generally keeps to himself. He gets overwhelmed easily by noise and attention from others, so he spends most of his time in the wind instead, using it as his constant companion.
