Iolite is a very kind and giving dragon. She isn't the best at making friends but she keeps what friends she does have very close to her heart. Iolite is an incredibly powerful arcane dragon and sometimes finds it difficult to keep her powers at bay.

Iolite has got better at controlling her arcane magic over time, but it still has the ability to completely consume her if she doesn't take the proper precautions. When she was younger an experiment she was performing went horribly wrong and her arcane powers went haywire. With nowhere to channel her overwhelming energy her magic tried to take over her whole body. Thankfully an elder and more skilled arcane dragon, Tourmaline, was nearby and was able to stop the attack before it was too late. Stopping her arcane magic from completely consuming her body came at a price though, Iolite limbs are completely imbibed with magical energy. Sometimes she can hear them whispering to her ....
