    Head of the Clan Guard Riddle follows orders from no one but the Matriarch herself, but even that does not mean he will follow through with them. While Maize's opinions on wildclaws is dismissive at best and outright malevolent at worst Riddle has managed to gain her good graces enough that she trusts him to stand by her side while she conducts clan business. Riddle keeps his head down and eyes dulled during these times but he does not forget the information he learns.

    Riddle barely remembers his life before the Ogofabiti but he does remember life when Solemn had the reins and he longs for the quiet peace that came with the Guardian. He does not like Maize and he does not want her new mate around, seeking continuously to remove Rend from power.

    He has taken Sayder as his mate and sends his offspring off to the Shadowbinder if they cannot find places of their own. A small shadow sprite is often found riding on his head, sharing stories of his homeland with anyone who will listen.
