The Gods of the Alternate Dimensions

Solstice and Equinox are not from this world. They govern the land from an alternate dimension, though their work are very localized. They are in charge of the weather and rise and fall of the sun and moon.

Solstice is celebrated by both the Day and Night kingdom, but at different time of year, while Equinox's festival is celebrated by both kingdoms on the same day.

It is adviced not to stare at them for too long, or their scales will pull the colors from your eyes.
