Dorian

Growing up a on a pirate ship made Dorians childhood everything but boring. Born in the shadow of his mother Calypso; a feared pirate captain, taught Dorian to work hard since the day he could walk. Even if Dorian was Calypso’s only child she kept in her care she never favored him over the other crewmembers, love was something that needed to be earned. This didn’t mean Dorians mother was a horrible dragon, she was sure to spend enough time with her son. Teaching him everything about sword fighting, stealing, how to operate a cannon and many more. Growing up without any other hatchlings wasn’t always easy for the young Imperial but it made him into the clever and skilled adult he is today. Now second in command on his mother’s ship Dorian made quite a name for himself. Living in luxury due to many successful raids and plundering gave him probably enough treasure to buy his own ship but he couldn’t even think about leaving his mother and crewmembers behind.

- Never knew his father or other siblings but loves his mother dearly. They really grew close after Dorian reached adulthood. Calypso just isn’t too great with hatchlings but now enjoys having conversations with her son deep into the night, talking about new plans and courses or just tell him stories of her own adventures when she was young.

- Dorian didn’t exactly inherited his mother’s brute strength and fighting talents but he is smart and charismatic. Knows how to talk himself out of the toughest situations without even raising a weapon. He mostly focusses on the finances of the ship and the contact with merchants on the black markets where the ship sells their loot.

- He quite enjoys fashion and taking care of his appearance. He is a bit vain and hates it when someone touches his perfectly kept mane.

- He had a brief relationship with a female Imperial, resulting in two hatchlings he didn’t even met due to his lifestyle. To his big surprise he received a letter some months later that he was a dad. He still writes regularly with his children and sends them money and presents now and then.
