Reaver

The bladed enforcer



Reaver came in his adult glory without even a name to introduce himself with. BlueScythe had usually only accepted or adopted in young hatchling dragons into their clan. Reaver would be one of the first adult dragons to be allowed within in territory. He caught interest first for Red; the matriarch's daughter but had to wait for her to come of age... however until she would a new female came within the ranks; a pearl catcher female named Anasa who was also accepted in as a adult.

The memories of before
What is a great ridgeback male to do without a name when entering new lands and finding his place in the world?
He remembers his grandmother, how like him originated from the Water-Flight. The great bodies of water and fresh smell in the air. His parents bring confusion into where he originally belonged, his Snapper Mother came from the Plague flight. His Ridgeback father being a Shadow Flight dragon.
When he traveled to find where he belonged, he traveled away from the great waters to the twisted tanglewood where he heard his father was in hopes of finding a new footing but instead came across the wet Driftwood Drag, that he met NightWing and her BlueScythe Clan. It is here where he obtained his name. The sharp horns and blades on his body and handsome dark colors gave the Guardian reason to think of him like a grim reaper; so she bestowed upon him the name "Reaver".
Reaver has no intention to leave this clan. The wetlands remind him of his origins, but not enough to make him homesick. He feels right at home, and plans to be a great father and warrior or enforcer for his new home.

Reaver has seen some male drama in BlueScythe concerning the leadership. Although NightWing will always reign as top-drake the masculine side has had some shaky changes. When Reaver joined, it was the wild mirror dragon 'Rouge' that was holding leadership. His strict dislikes of certain colors and flights made arguments erupt more between him and his former mate NightWing. Reaver pondered on the thought of taking the title boss by force, however a SkyDancer male grew into adulthood- "Blade". Blade was proving to be such a great natural leader that not only did Nightwing appoint him title of BlueScythe's new top male, but as her new seen mate. Reaver enjoys the leadership Blade shows, and has no intentions of taking over the clan by force anymore.
Power and strength is not ignored though, Blade has great respect for the ridgeback and time to time may ask to barrow his abilities. Reaver is considered to be the clan's enforcer and warrior; a title he holds with great pride.
