~The Scare Master~

Every since he was a hatchling, Hollow has had a fascination for all things spooky and grim. He loved hearing stories that would terrify any other young dragon, and he got a kick out of scaring his siblings in creative ways. As time went by, he became more and more ostracized for his "strange interests", especially because his fascination for the paranormal went against the logical way other Light dragons saw the world. Once he became a teenager, Hollow decided he had enough. He ran away from home, not telling anyone he was leaving, and never looked back.

For a while he wandered Sornieth all alone. Then one day, while hunting for food, he stumbled upon a little Imperial being mercilessly bullied by two larger dragons. Hollow felt anger rise up in his chest. He knew what it was like to be picked on, and he didn't want anyone else to go through the same pain. He concealed himself near the bullies and started emitting a series of threatening hisses and growls, starting out quietly, and slowly growing louder--one of his favorite tricks he used to play.

The bullies snapped to attention and glanced around. "What was that?" Hollow heard one of them say. From his hiding place, he could see the fear in their eyes.

Then, Hollow leaped out. The bullies screamed and took off, leaving the cowering Imperial behind. Before she could run away too, Hollow dropped his act and reassured her that he only wanted to help. The Imperial introduced herself as Psyche, a member of a Wind clan called the Sojourners.

Psyche was shocked that Hollow was homeless. She urged him to go home with her, and he hesitantly followed. Upon reaching the clan, she told her father, Valentine, about how Hollow scared off her bullies, and for this, the Valentine welcomed him with open arms. It was the happiest day of Hollow's life. He finally had a place where he belonged.

Now that he has grown, Hollow acts as a Protector of the clan. He purposefully dresses in scary clothing to intimidate any would-be trespassers, and he takes pride in being able to use some of his old scaring tactics to frighten enemies.

Though he was born a Guardian, he always wanted to be a Ridgeback, thinking they were the scariest looking species, and was thrilled when he finally received the transformation of his dreams.
