Marise is known for her dark and often gruff personality. Though well respected as a fighter and protector, her dry sense of humor doesn't endear her to her clanmates. Since finesse is not a part of her battle style, preferring instead to use carnal force, she is often covered in cuts and bruises. If anyone doubts her care for the clan, their skepticism is quickly dispelled by her complete disregard for her own safety when protecting others. Her actions speak volumes more than her surly words ever could and many owe her a debt which she will likely never call upon.

When she is focused on a task or during particularly stressful training, she sometimes sings to herself without realizing it. Her uncharacteristically lilting singing voice is beautiful and if any of her clanmates have noticed or heard, they never mention it.
