Kajo is calmer and older than Midas or Puikula and so he has taken to look after those two, more or less at least.

Kajo and Midas are lovers and no-one can even remember time when they wouldn't been. The two sleep entwined almost every night.
Kajo also seems to be master at calming Midas down by cuddling if Midas is being more anxious or nervous than usual.

Some dragons say Kajo is such a lotus eater, or what ever, he doesnt really care of it and makes sure to not let Midas know as he would just worry about it.

Kajo and Midas are the ones who take care of hatchlings and young ones.
