Igniculus has always been fascinated by the water, and so when the opportunity came for him to leave home as a youngling to travel the oceans of Sornieth with a wandering bunch of sailors, he didn't think twice. But having spent most of his life at sea, Nic hasn't quite found his 'land legs' yet and spends a lot of time at the water's edge. He's in charge of the colony's water farm, where aquatic foodstocks like rotala and water lilies are grown, and also where the fish are farmed from.

Possessed of a somewhat tempestuous personality that quite matches the ocean, Nic is still learning how to settle back on land but finds great joy in his work and can also be found teaching the hatchlings (heavily edited) versions of the sea shanties he learned as a youth. He's definitely a bit rough around the edges and sometimes has to remember his manners but once you get past all the scruff he's quite a softy.
