A quiet and peaceful babysitter

She arrived, limping, from the northeast border, her wings ruffled and bloody scratches all over her soft skin. Tylara trekked farther, staggering and exhausted and in great pain. She finally reached the grove and collapsed, only to be carried off by warm talons and placed in a nest. When she woke up, she was surrounded by her new and curious Clan.
Once they fixed her all up, Tylara was welcomed warmly into the Clan, and fit right in, hunting and gathering and fighting; but what she really loved to do was sit and play with the new hatchlings. The hatchlings loved her in turn, and Tylara became 'the nanny' of the Clan. The babies were intrigued with her white belly and would always climb all over her, tugging on feathers and nuzzling into her wings. Silent and reserved, Tylara enjoys her solitude but would never turn down the call of a hatchling. When she had her own hatchlings she tried to teach them to run and hide in the forests, but, being of a different breed, they didn't enjoy it as much as she hoped. Tylara loved the forest. Running between the trees, feeling the dirt under her feet, and the smell of bark and sap made her heart swell and she felt free.
She hopes that one day she will find the perfect mate, and have the perfect hatchlings, and once again sprint through the forest beside her partner.
