Name of dragon: Dead Dreams; Dream (she named herself)
Profession: Foreteller of Loss; she occasionally, when the urge arises, informs the clan of something bad that is to come. This can be something as small as losing an object that holds sentimental value to a dragon of the clan, to something as big as the death of a mate. Dream is not always aware of every bad thing that will happen, and sometimes she is aware but decides to keep her mouth shut, because of her own reasons, which are secretive and many.
Personality: Cold, withdrawn, and convoluted; there is an air of sorrow about her, and she rarely speaks in a straightforward fashion, preferring to dance a roundabout way around the truth, though she does not quite speak in riddles. She cares for her clan in her own odd way, but has a hard time showing it in a way that the others can understand or agree with.
How she came to be in the clan: As a hatchling she was dumped into Sea of a Thousand Currents to drown, but the Tidelord spared her--or perhaps he never knew she was there--and she washed up on the shore, finding herself in the Ashfall Waste. A group of dragons from Carasu's (the Matriarch's) clan were out scavenging and attempting to fish when they found her, half dead, and brought her back to the clan.
Backstory: No one knows who tried to drown her or why, but they know she came from the Tangled Wood, and surely dragons so seeped in shadows are not to be trusted. Only Dream knows the reason that her previous clan tried to kill her, and that reason is how she learned when to hold her tongue. She was at first distrustful of her new, adoptive clan, but time has scabbed over that old wound on her heart, and she has learned that the dragons in Carasu's clan are a caring, if mismatched lot. She has made at least one friend, and that's all that matters.
