Othniel, lore-wise, was previously a guardian. Their charge was a pile of ruins near their home clan in Light territory. However, they keep feeling waves of sadness and guilt over not being there to save it from disrepair, even though the disaster that made it so happened ages before they were born. Breed changing into a wildclaw had made this sense more managable; they are able to start restoring it.
