Thoughts:

▸Bow: Faded brilliance, doesn’t remember herself anymore than anybody else does. Once hidden genius, now just hidden.

▸Auticus: A sham, staining their mentor’s name with his selfish magics and desire.

▸Ziva: Protector, defender, a memory beacon that lasts in the storm.

A often sought out destination of Scholars of all creed and species, a treasure trove of continually unshared information. Many people worry that all of the unwritten history contained in Amiel's memory will soon be lost as his memory fades.

Though he speaks none on the past, of himself or in general, there is a lot of debate and speculation as to who Amiel was back in his own time-period.

Under the self-inflicted power of the Eternal Youth curse Amiel has been using his technical immortality to buy more time for his research. What his goal was, or what the issue was, at the beginning is uncertain and there is uncertainty if Amiel himself even recalls what his purpose for this was anymore.

Thoughts:

▸Tamika: Cowardly and young. Makes a choice but doesn’t follow through with it.

▸Ollie: Once a rival truly worth of the vitriol, a thief.

▸Miguel: An assistant by nature, eager to please and dull. A traitor.

Thoughts:

▸Adonis: Vague shadows of alchemy of the Gods, an individual who makes one question what time they are truly in.

▸Vordana: Tricky, strange, seems conflicted about something but asks no questions.

▸Blackmagic: Helpful? But, strange. Overly familiar and sentimental for a stranger.

Biography

All that people seem to know about him is that he was alive during the Golden Age for the Orc people and that his memory is deteriorating. Having been questioned by Historians and Scholars for Eons but releasing nothing of interest, there is only speculation as to who Amiel is. Many people believe that Amiel was an ancient Orc Noble Scholar who, probably, spent his days researching and writing much as he does now… some claim that he must have been some kind of spy or informant for how tight-lipped he is about the past. Whoever he used to be, nowadays he’s mostly only visited by the most desperate of scholars who attempt to guilt the knowledge of the past out of him.

Obviously, at once time, Amiel was not cursed as he is now. At one point he was an adult man who had a hand in the way things happened around him, but now Amiel is a deeply cursed pre-teen who adamantly refuses to get involved with the business of the outside world. ‘Move on’ he says to those who question him, though he continues to remain an Orc from a different time.

Personality

Short tempered is one way to put it, with no filter and no patience left in him, it takes shockingly little in order to push Amiel to anger. Easy to offend, to upset, with seemingly extreme and uncontrollable emotions, he can be a very difficult person to be around. On top of this is his petty, and spiteful, behavior that mixes to make a very toxic environment most of the time. Easy to get on the bad side of, and willing to bite for it, Amiel may be a piece of living history but his knowledge isn’t worth staying in his presence.

Distrustful, somewhat paranoid, he doesn’t seem to trust that people are who they appear to be and often assumes that people come to him under false pretenses. More likely to ask questions than answer them, interrogating any who dare to visit, makes him a very unlikeable figure amongst his other traits. It would take time in order to make him let his guard down and that is the one thing that he does not have an abundance left in.

Personality

Despite the effects of the curse, Amiel is still a very smart person… assuming he’s actually present. Most of the time he is dazed or unresponsive, completely deaf and numb to the activity of the world around him and to stimuli, but if caught in a lucid moment his very manner of speech leaves little room to argue that he wasn’t, once, a man of pure brilliance.

How can someone be so forgetful and still hold such strong grudges? It sounds like a contradiction but Amiel, somehow, still manages it. Tick him off once and he’s going to be a jerk about it until he’s completely forgotten about the other person’s existence. One would assume there should be some inbetween for these two stages but Amiel manages to make it work out of sheer spite for those who have angered him in the past.
