Alatariel - the witchdoctor

You want a poison or a magic potion? Alatariel is the one to go to. She mixes concoctions of all sorts, her specialty are potions of warfare, poisons for weakening and confusion, but also tonic of fortification. She can mix up a healing potion as well, if she has to, but it goes against her plague nature and her tendency for destruction.
All the herbs are "provided" by Mimiteh, which means Alatariel will just go and raid the stores of the herbalist for anything she needs.
She is is a fierce fighter, more with teeth and claws than her natural magic, which she uses the one way she knows: to "play dirty", confusing the enemy and weakening them.
Ambitious by nature, she took over the position as clan matriarch when Saramune followed the call of the Icewarden, though there are rumors Saramune was coaxed into leaving by Alatariel.
Inarion acts as her voice of reason, when she's in one of her moods or fought with Lavan again, who is still the nominal patriarch of the clan, though she contemptuously calls him "the old man".
Her ruling of the clan and the constant meddling in the lairs alchemy lab, recently ended her relationship with Inarion. This did not really help her moods and she is more broody than ever. She is not to be trifled with, reigning the clan with a very strict hand and fighting anyone who dares to challenge her tooth and nail.
Born in the middle of the riot of rot, she has a strong connection to the plague and the plaguemother. That week is the week where her magic is strongest. She will lock herself in the lab to honor her roots by brewing concoctions of all kinds. Hatchlings are always warned to go near the lab, but especially during this time, because who knows what is summoned there. Whispers of trapped spirits and curses run through the clan accompanied by Alatariels manical laughter that echoes through the caverns.....
There is only one dragon that does not seem to be scared of her lab: Linnea. Even as a hatchling did the nocturne follow Alatariel around and into her lab.
