Bojakrvi was hatched into a noble fighter of the Plague Flight. As all his kin, he was primed since he was a hatchling, he was harshly disciplined, and physically trained for violent prowess. Bojakrvi was a merciless, fierce combatant; his relentless, pitiless personality perfectly complimented his prospective role. His fellows had high hopes for this potential brutal slaughterer, and he was eager to spill blood.
Perhaps too soon and strong was his desire for bloodshed. Bojakrvi's aggression and sense of self escalated with the encouragement of his mentors and peers. The increasing injury to his peers during training were overlooked by superiors, was it not a suitable sacrifice to further the skills of this prodigy? But Bojakrvi's own mentor, are retired and respected fighter, was concerned with his blind aggression. She wanted to bring forth a powerful killer - but not one without direction or dignity. She told the coatl of his disgrace to the art of combat, that his directionless rage would be his decadence. He was taken aback by this statement, no one should have the right to question someone as commended as himself. She offered to battle her student: a true display of what a true fighter was capable of. And of course Bojakrvi, as thirsty for violence and full of spite he was, accepted eagerly. The battle was fervid and harsh, the powerful dragons entangled in a brutal conflict. They appeared to be evenly matched until Bojakrvi held her neck in his jaw. As in a flash of anger he tore through the artery of his mentor, onlookers were horrified. Sorrow, mourning and turmoil followed, the dragons of Plague were shaken by the development. Bojakrvi was punished mercilessly by his own kin for his unforgivable actions. Those who once cheered for him tore and hissed at him. Bloody and lame, he barely managed to escape with his life. The ex-student wondered aimlessly far across wastelands. He knew he could never return to his own flight's territory. Eventually he came across the barren expanse of The Shattered Plain. He collapsed and awaited his expiration. Before he perished, however, a naive empathetic Earth Flights dragon discovers a severely injured young dragon. Being as concerned as she is, she dressed his wounds and escorts him to her clan. This development was met with much skepticism and contempt by fellow clanmates, but knowing nothing of his past and seeing a dragon in need, it is decided he is allowed to remain in care of the clan until he is returned to good health. |
