Hiatus

A quirky Arcane deserter who has taken a liking to Mayhem's Clan.

Most would agree that Hiatus is a few eggs short of a full clutch. For
example, the she-dragon quite adamantly states that this world is not
real. According to her, everything is a series of complicated coding
that exists in a vast abyss known as "the Internet." Hiatus also claims
to be something called a "glitch" or a "virus." Supposedly, by some
accident or miracle of fate, she was not only given awareness, but
the ability to tamper with the world's makeup as well. While few
readily believe the Spiral's babbling, one cannot help but notice the
strange distortions that occur around her. When Hiatus is present,
nearby objects occasionally blink out of existence--or become new
things entirely! In addition, the air is known to ripple around her form,
warping unnaturally, as if something is trying to rip through. No one
knows for sure what Hiatus is, but it is clear that she is some kind
of strange anomaly that probably should be avoided.

Hiatus isn't someone who gets troubled by the opinions of others,
though. Highly inquisitive, yet relatively mellow, Hiatus likes to stay
untethered. She wanders from Clan to Clan without any obvious
purpose, and seems to enjoy observing individuals from all walks of
life. Mayhem's group caught the Spiral's interest in particular, due to
its leader's love of pranks. Hiatus adores surprising others--always
with playful intent, rather than malice--so she is having fun learning
new tricks from the sly Fae. The Spiral still wanders off on a regular
basis, but she always returns to Mayhem's territory eventually, her
mouth full of untold stories and her eyes bright with mischief.
