A little too smart for his own good, Ilkwa delights in confounding and irritating those who he considers below his intellect...which is actually almost everyone. Occasionally Toupjang is needed to haul him forcibly back into line if a pranking escapade gets too out of hand. He loves to play with numbers and to stretch every bit of value that he can out of the clan treasury, which he has a tendency to treat as if it belongs to him alone. Quite capable of yelling his head off in a childish temper tantrum if something greatly displeases him or if someone makes fun of his oddly hissing speech.
==History==
Raised in the Gladeveins and tutored by Coatls, he met up with Toupjang at a family reunion that she visited on one of her long treks away from the clan and immediately found her to be one of the few people in life who truly 'got' him. He tagged along with her back to the clan and got so frustrated with the lack of control over the gold hoarded there (under Tonfa's lax rules everything tended to move in fits and starts, if it moved at all) that within the week he ended up in a screaming argument with Shamshir. He was hired one hour later.

==Relationships==
He regards Toupjang as his 'sister', even though the family connection is far more complicated than that. He loves her for putting up with his bulls***. He is friends with Khanda and Arbir's crowd, and has a crush on Vettukathi.
