Blessed Healer

Medic and Healer | Apothecary | Forager

As the clan's head medic and apothecary, Seraphina's duties include: tending sick or injured lairmates, providing health exams for all new hatchlings, consulting with the lair's chefs to ensure each dragon receives a proper and healthy diet (with herbal and vitamin supplements per each individual, if necessary), identifying new and potentially toxic or harmful plants, and checking the coliseum and hunting teams before and after their excursions out on the field, among other things.

Seraphina's disposition is kindly and patient, if a bit no-nonsense and brusque under extreme pressure. She is gentle enough to work with newborn hatchlings, yet resilient enough to demand even the most cranky, pain-addled Ridgebacks and Imperials to respect and cooperate with her.

Her dwarf unicorn familiar, Viviana, even has had custom saddlebags made for her. Vivi often follows Seraphina around carrying bandages, fresh linens, poultices, and other medical supplies in these saddlebags so that the dragoness has them on hand in case of emergencies.

Seraphina has extensive knowledge of most herbs and plants. Thus, she is relied upon as the lair's head forager. She keeps her current foraging team up-to-date on which sorts of plants are edible and eligible for gathering, and that which are not.

Most of her lairmates respect her, even those who have been fortunate enough not to need her healing skills firsthand. Those who have been treated by her directly are always grateful and appreciative of her presence, and she is definitely a favorite among the hatchlings (probably due to her penchant for handing out treats to them after their checkups).
