Archangel (or "Angel", as she is known) originally ventured to the Sea of a Thousand Currents for a time in her unyielding quest for truth and higher knowledge. As a hatchling, she heard many stories about the sacred talents of Water Flight, and hoped to someday learn the art of divining and foresight for herself.

Having learned much of the magicks of Water Flight, she decided it was time to guide the rest of the lair towards a future back in her home region. In the ruins of Lady Lightweaver's domain, she sifts through history and uses the knowledge gained from her time in Fishspine Reef and Leviathan Trench to discern hidden truths.

Despite her stunning, brilliant appearance, she is remarkably humble towards her clanmates. (She does, however, dislike getting her shimmering hide tarnished; she avoids 'unclean' activities such as digging through muck for insects, or hunting game and its associated unpleasantness.)

Intelligent and extremely well-educated, she took it upon herself to oversee the education of all the hatchlings in the lair. Angel always ensures that the lair's young ones go out into the world at least having basic skills such as reading and writing. Additionally, she corresponds frequently with Gaudior, Adele, and Shade, and keeps them up to date on all the current internal goings-on within the clan's sister lair.
