He's kinda dumb so instead of forcing you out of his room, he left screaming. Since you're here, you might as well look around.

The Reason Why
He literally lives confused. Venom doesn't understand why Salome follows him around, why Ariadne doesn't sell him or send him off to the gods (which is so much better than constantly putting up with the purple Ridgeback), why he suddenly grew spines on his back, why they don't train him, why he's not doing anything productive for the clan, do they think he's useless or something? Everybody in the lair has a job or "condition" as Ariadne likes to call it, except for him. They even put his pet scorpion to cut the meats! Why don't they ask him to do anything? His father Elis just tells him to relax, that as soon as he stops complaining and start picking fights every time they ask him to do something, then they'll ask for his help.

Thanks to his incredible work of doing nothing, Ariadne "The Great One" has bestowed upon him the ability to glow.
He's not happy about it.

Ariadne sent him to sleep because he was bullying Liquorice and that is a federal crime since "Rish Rish" is everyone's favorite dragon and the sweetest member of the clan.

HIS MOM IS BACK AFTER AN ALMOST 4 YEAR TRAVEL AND HE HAS NO IDEA HOW TO FEEL ABOUT IT.
HE'S VERY NERVOUS.

His Mom has now forced him to dress up somewhat more decent. She will not tolerate his usual smelly garments.
Venom is displeased. Per his Mom's request he now glows differently.

Opal continues to change her son's clothes much to his displeasure.
Neither are happy about this gold iteration. They just can't seem to get the golds to match!

After much deliberation and annoyance at her son's pleas and whining, Opal has agreed to let him wear his old clothes again. Not before saving the mess he has on for another time.
