Among my people this is how we celebrate state funerals. Our marriage ceremonies are solmn, sober, moments of reflection, also regret, disagreement, argument and mutual recrimination.

Named for Thy'lek Shran's wife from Star Trek: Enterprise.

Water has been Jhamel's life for as long as she can remember... that is until she discovered ice.

Ice has become her new passion and because of her existence in the ice flight, her life. Jhamel believes ice to be the most beautiful of all things found in nature, something she once claimed about water. She loves the cold, unlike most of her fellow non-ice born clanmates; but also unlike most of them, she comes from a cooler climate. The waters where she grew up were cold, much colder than most of the Sea of a Thousand Currents. This was due to it's proximity to the border with the Tangled Wood, the home of the shadow dragons. Most of the waters of the Sea were kept warm by heat overflowing from the Ashfall Waste and the Shifting Expanse which make up two more of the boarders, but heat doesn't travel well over great distances in water, and her birth clans home was quite cool by comparison. Her mother claims that it was these temperatures that gave Jhamel her beautiful cool coloring, coloring that attracted her mate, Thylek to her when they first met.
When Thylek was brought back to the clan by Icheb, he was not conscious, and Icheb asked Jhamel to attend to him and ensure that he healed back to his full strength. Jhamel agreed and set about working her nursing magic upon him. When Thylek finally came to once more, the first thing his tired, sore eyes saw, was a gloriously beautiful, shimmering, blue and purple female skydancer. In fact, Thylek was so in shock and awe at her beauty, that he thought he had most certainly died. However, he had not, and he fell in love with his beautiful young nurse and they have made a life together here, in the land of ice and cold.
