Leader of the Patrollers/Clan’s Co-leader

Personality
Benevolent / Rough / Social
Before Delphian joined this clan, she was much like her clanmates back in the Tangled Woods. She followed a strict code and was silent and stern, once following the commands of her clan leader. After helping start the rebellion, Delphian eventually got to meet Wowzers and the other early members of this clan.

Nowadays, Delphian is way more chattier. She has a dry sense of humor, which has scared off some dragons, but she overall means well. Delph also has a tendency to gravitate towards the younger members of the clan, as they fill her in on what she missed as a child and since they tend to like her little battle stories.
Relationships
Wowzers: "One of my closest friends. Sometimes it’s tough to get her to like others since she’s always been a bit rigid, but who better than me to soften her up?"

Delphian used to come from a clan deep within the Tangled Woods. Like all other clans in Sornieth, they worshipped their corresponding deities, but Delphian’s former clan had a near cult like method of worship. They captured dragons from foreign clans and forced the strongest of their clans to serve under the Shadowbinder. Those who were left behind were saved for ‘later’ and were often subject to doing the unsavory work other clan members didn’t want to do.

To some these actions were obviously terrible, but those born within the clan were raised to believe they were just carrying out the actions of the Shadowbinder, and that all of their actions were justified.

Meanwhile when it came to the roles within the clan, the clan leader spread the belief that every dragon had a destined role they all must fulfill. Delphian was ‘destined’ to be a fighter. She along with other fighters spent their younger years training and sparred alongside the higher-ups of the clan. Though there were times they nearly trained themselves to death, they still followed after the leaders of the clan valiantly.

In Delphian’s adulthood, internal conflict began to stir. She noticed some of her clan mates had seemingly disappeared into thin air, while the others were subtly trying to avoid interaction with the clan’s leaders. With no clue of what was going on, Delphian hesitantly followed suit until confronting someone about it. Then she was informed about the rebellion on the rise.

A breeder within the clan was snooping around the deeper regions of the lair, even though the breeders weren’t allowed to wander far from the hatcheries. They discovered a recent letter sent from a foreign clan to the clan leaders. The letter discussed getting rid of the ‘useless’ within Delphian’s clan and sending them over to the sender’s clan for profit. Of course, many were doubtful of this letter being authentic, but the more astute of the breeders only figured the ‘useless’ referred to them, seeing as they were only valued for their hatchlings.

After news of this spread around the clan, one of the gatherers snuck out of duty to see if there was anything related to their group of work. They were able to catch a good glimpse of the clan leaders meeting up with other dragons they didn’t recognize. Alongside them was a huge cart filled with the items the gatherers had worked so hard to collect, and it was obvious the leader’s were trading them over for profit based on the treasure in their claws. The gatherers were less angry that their work was being sold to others, but enraged that they received none of the spoils. Delphian didn’t want to believe any of this was true, but she couldn’t help but start a little investigation of her own.

For multiple days in a row Delphian put off her guard duty to watch around the clan’s area for any important activity. Continually all she could really see was the clan leaders selling off the gatherer’s work as per usual, but one day a mindless stroll through the clan lair yielded Delphian interesting results.

That day, Delphian had wandered into a part of the lair that was built underground. It was dark, as if the Shadow’s domain wasn’t dark enough. The only things illuminating this dark room were torches that decorated the wall. The torches only produced a dim light, as they weren’t rekindled very recently. With the small amount of light however, Delphian could make out the silhouettes of some of her clanmates. While it was a relief to have found out where her missing clanmates had gone, it also raised the question what exactly they were doing in this secret underground.

About five minutes passed and Delphian could feel someone was coming
