Jade

Andry and Viris's oldest child! Viris is eager to keep her away from the vicious, nomadic Mirror lifestyle, so she and Andry are saving up for a breed change scroll. Andry is pushing for her to go Tundra, but Jade says she'd rather be a Guardian like her adopted big sister Diana. Time will tell!

10/30/13 -- In the end, Jade was won over by the idea of being fluffy like Daddy and Xander. She is now an adorable green Tundra!

11/2/13 -- Today Diana brought home an autumn dryad who was badly wounded in the Coliseum. Jade and Candyfloss immediately volunteered to nurse her back to health. Of the two, the dryad seems to prefer Jade. Behold, her first familiar!

11/10/13 -- Jade has achieved Level 4 as part of the clan's all-girl fighting team! To everyone's surprise, she's a fierce little warrior -- looks like a fluffy Tundra, but fights like a Mirror!

11/20/13 -- Jade and Wasabi's three hatchlings -- Jadine, Wasabi Pea, and Gabriel -- have been fostered to Dracoangelica's Arcane Academy, where they will learn magic and eventually serve the Arcanist. Their parents continue to correspond with them. Jade misses them a great deal but knows she's not really ready for motherhood yet. She's proud of her babies' progress in their studies!

12/5/2013 -- Jade has settled into adulthood now, and looks like she might be a good clan leader someday. She and her one-time mate, Wasabi, have achieved a strong friendship, which may yet become something more, eventually. Unlike poor Candy, who wanted so badly to come first in Juniper's heart, Jade doesn't mind that it's unlikely anyone will ever be as important to Wasabi as his best friend and foster brother. She has her own life separate from Wasabi and is content.

1/1/14 -- Jade has finally found another mate -- Benvolio! Though they've known each other since childhood, Ben never made a huge impression on Jade until his heroism during the lair collapse. She started seeing him in a whole new light, and was startled to find he'd nursed a slight crush on her for years. They have no immediate plans for eggs, under the circumstances, but are now sharing a den and enjoying each other's company immensely.

1/17/14 -- Jade and Benvolio hadn't intended to have hatchlings, possibly ever, certainly not so soon -- but here they are, or rather, here they come! They will almost certainly be fostered out to support the clan, so they are both trying not to get attached, but they look forward to spending what time with them they can.

2/25/14 -- Now that Jade's autumn dryad has awakened, the time has come to release her back to the wild and find a new companion. Jade is sorry to see her go, but very excited about her new shadow sprite!
