SELKIE
The Slacker

Mate: None
Pronouns: he/him
Bio: Selkie is absolutely proud of his feathers, which are not only extra soft and fluffy compared to other Coatl, but also include very fine down on his tail and limbs, giving him a soft appearance overall. Other than preening and a bit of fishing, which he does by magic, Selkie doesn't like to put overly much effort into life. It's a waste of time to work so much and forget to enjoy life, he will often say to his hardworking brother Theodore, who doesn't approve of that nonsense.

Selkie's favorite hobby is shell collecting, and in fact when sent out on a fishing trip he will often bring back far more shells than fish. This makes him mostly an annoyance to a lot of the clan, and outright disliked by a few. He's somewhat lazy, but very easy-going. And he does know a good bit of magic. If only he were a better teacher, he could actually pass that knowledge on to someone more likely to use it to its full potential. But, alas, he only spouts off some nonsense about "really feeling the water, you know, flow" and not much else. 		Snail Husk
