Of all the guardians of the clan, Sunshine is the biggest and the strongest. She came to the clan very soon after Cassandra and Cedric's first nest was hatched, the daughter of Toraque and Shasta. Toraque and Shasta are the founders of a clan in Earth with whom Cassandra's clan has been allies with practically since their first meeting. Sunshine is a testament to that alliance, as despite being the only surviving daughter of the founding dragons, she has been a staunch member of Cassandra's clan for almost as long as Cassandra's own children. Born to the same generation as Caroline, Cyrus, and Cory, Sunshine is an honorary cousin of theirs, and the Battlemaster of the clan.
Sunshine is a fierce opponent, and alongside Hallow fought all across the lands of Sornieth. She remembers a time when the Golem Workshop, the Kelp Beds, even the Mire were as yet undiscovered, when the Beastclans still fought divided and fearful.While she and Hallow both no longer venture out into the wildlands, having since retired, they still train young dragons to be warriors. To them, Sunshine teaches the art of battle, the styles of fighting she picked up and developed in her time as a warrior while Hallow reveals them the mysteries and secrets to magic. Sunshine and Hallow are close companions, comrades in arms as well as like family to one another. It is not uncommon to see Sunshine and Hallow together about the lair when they aren't teaching their young pupils.
For a time, Sunshine was the mate of Denton, the Mirror from water with whom she had several children whose blood still flow through the clan, in the veins of both Erica the mighty Imperial, and Rowan, the nature-inclined Coatl. Denton has since gone to serve the Flamecaller, but Sunshine keeps him close by keeping in touch with their descendants.
