Faizah lost her charge in a terrible fight which broke out between her charge, a mirror, and a ridgeback. When she leapt to stop the attacker, she found herself claw to claw with another guardian, who's charge was the offending Ridgeback. Both Guardians fought desperately in order to protect their charges, the quarreling ridgeback and mirror. During the battle, Faizah's charge was killed, though she managed to both seriously wound the other guardian and kill the Ridgeback. She fled from their home in disgrace, and eventually ended up in this clan, where, though accepted, she still sometimes considers herself only half of a dragon.
