Kwahandya
Clan Co-Friendleader | General Clan Services | Job Planning | Crafter mate: Vallya Since the very moment Kwahandya was born he was always able to hear a voice in his head. He accepted this as something that was normal, although it made it very challenging for him to stay focused on anything for long. The first few years of Kwahandya's life were spent almost totally in solitude, without even a clan to keep him company. In order to survive, he taught himself to hunt by watching other dragons. Sometimes he asked the voice in his mind what to do, but in the beginning he didn't believe it to be any wiser than he was. When he learned that other dragons didn't have voices in their heads independent of their own, he simply accepted that he was not sane and moved onto more important things. Never did he consider trying to get the voice to stop; sometimes when he got too stressed out or too overwhelmed with the world around him, he'd just lay back and listen to the voice. It was during one such session that the thought occurred to him that the other voice might not be coming from him, and might be some outside source. When he asked the voice, she said her name was Vallya and that she'd been waiting for him to think about that. Apparently she could hear all that he was thinking as well, although his voice had started for her a few years after she was born. Kwahandya considered that, a mirror of his life. Someone who was doing well, and who was doing good for the clan she belonged to despite having the same "flaw" that he had. From then on there was not a silent moment in the minds of those two dragons. Kwahandya found it easy to love everything about his mindmate, and Vallya seemed to think the same as well. With her guidance, he began to do better for himself and learned skills that weren't just hunting. Over time she ceased being just a voice, their bond got better and if they closed their eyes they were able to relay visual memories to one another. She taught him to read, and he taught her to hunt and to make tools and trinkets. Vallya never made specific plans to meet up with him, although she always said things like "when we meet" or "when we join our clan." Kwahandya didn't pry, though he did begin travelling with hopes of finding her at random. One morning he found a Shadow clan that looked incredibly familiar to him, as he'd been shown memories of it by Vallya. She greeted him when he came, and their relationship in person was just as easy as it had been in their minds.
