Astraeus

It was tradition within the clan not to name a hatchling before their 5th day, but he already knew what his name would be. It had been decided in the Council of Elders, and his brother had heard from the representative of Skydancers, Calibrator, that he was to be named Astraeus. He was similar to Rain in his enthusiasm and upbeat attitude, however he differs from his older brother only in gullibility. He is blissfully unaware of the world, and while Rain is no realist he possesses a lot more introspective and thoughtful qualities to his person. Astraeus is more chaotic, and will frequently get himself into trouble because he did not think a plan completely through. Oftentimes it would be Chaos tricking him into doing something of the sort, and despite the fact that each time he did this he could have been seriously injured, he understood that it was her sense of humor and always forgave her. He occasionally has short bursts of excitement where all he can do is talk nonstop or fly around the lair, and only the elder Cleo may calm him down fully. As an adult he is quite a lot calmer, however there seems to be a bit of a 'night and day' to his personality. For the most part, he is right in the center, but a lot of the time he is either excited and bubbly about something, or exhausted and non-communicative. It is quite strange for other dragons to see, however they grow quite used to it, realizing that he simply uses up his energy far too quickly.
