Geier

An expert at scavenging and a formidable hunter. Geier was hatched while her mother was on the run from her pack for breaking clan law. Though she was never told precisely what sin her mother had committed, she learned quickly to keep one eye over her shoulder. She's a bit bristly and suspicious as a result, but a consummate survivor. To keep her busy while she was hunting, her mother would ask her to look for bones. Ironically, it was her habit of collecting bones that became her saving grace- during one resting point in their headlong flight, Geier's mother left her in the care of a bone-carving artisan as an apprentice. In this way she hoped to make the path safer for them both and protect her daughter from whatever fate lay in store if she were ever caught. Since that day, Geier has not seen her mother and has no idea what might have become of her. But she still collects bones.
