Eerie

Eerie always knew he was different. Some accepted him and his differences, others thought he should embrace his differences and deviate from his mirror origins. More still thought he could be cured of his defects. Regardless, the truth was the truth, and Eerie was no ordinary mirror. Growing antlers and feathered wings had posed a problem for him as a dragonet. Not that he had been taunted, only that he was always looked at as though he was not a dragon. It made him uncomfortable. For a time, he tried to hide his feathered wings, stretching a canvas flap over the top of them. His antlers, however, were not so easy to hide. Hoods worked until they tore. they always did. Eventually Eerie got tired of hiding, letting his defects and differences show beyond him. It would not earn him respect and admiration, but it would at least he could feel satisfied that he had defects like any other dragon, that he was being honest, and that someday, far into a bright future, his flaws and differences wouldnt matter.
