Hermes is not only cunning, charismatic, and brave, but the most handsome young dragon in Clan Cornifer- if you're asking Persephone, at least. Hermes grew up alongside the sweet girl and has never been separated from her a moment longer than his job requires. A job he is incredibly good at, if he does say so himself- easily the fastest messenger in Sornieth, he would also say. Thankfully for those around him, his boundless charm makes him nearly impossible to dislike and there is almost no one in the clan he can't make break into a smile, at a minimum.

Hermes first encountered Clan Cornifer doing his job- bringing Bukere a missive requesting Cornifer aid a fellow clan. After meeting the stoic, yet gentle guardians that made up the bulk of Cornifer, Hermes decided to head out- but not before noticing a unique and strikingly beautiful flower he had never seen in the area just outside the entrance to what turned out to be Cornifer's vault. With permission, he brought the flower to Persephone, who abruptly announced that they needed to move wherever this flower grew, because it surely grew nowhere else.

Since he could never deny her anything, Hermes simply asked her- in that secret language only the two of them knew- if she was sure. Without hesitation, she repeated- wherever this flower grew, they belonged, just like they belonged together. The warm welcome they received, the lush land surrounding Cornifer's home, and the incredible view from the crystalline peaks of the Starfall Isles confirmed Hermes and Persephone had found their home. Now Cornifer boasts the self-proclaimed fastest messenger in all of Sornieth.
