Zephyr

Although he is one of the oldest dragons living at The Keep, Zephyr is in no way a leader in his profession. Many new hires assume he is the head guard of the clan when, in fact, he is merely Athelwyne's personal guard. She hired him under the belief that she does not have to fear harm if any less-than-trustworthy clans were to be doing business with The Keep. His responsibilities also extend beyond simply being a guard - he travels with her when she meets with other clan leaders and often acts as a mediator in disputes. He's often a secondary mouthpiece for the clan when both Shenti and Athelwyne are either not trusted or cannot be present.

He allegedly has a very rough past that he's put behind him that not even his closest friends know of. He's hinted at it in conversation with close friends before, although he's never gone into detail about it. All anyone knows is that he was a strong warrior that fought may battles that likely ended in many deaths. Now he's better known as a pacifist - no one has ever seen him commit an act of violence or even act aggressively. He claims that the concept of pacifism is his charge, which causes many to question him considering his occupation. Outwardly he appears dedicated to his supposed cause; he's restricted his diet to only plants to prevent any living creature from being in pain. This still causes him guilt, though, since he, being a nature element dragon, questions whether or not plants have feelings or can feel pain.
