Background: Patience grew up in a small, peaceful clan in the Starfall Isles. As a younger adolescent, he spent most of his time reading lore and listening to the elders tell stories of great adventures and skilled battles. While his clan mates learned to hunt early, he learned how to forage and refused to hunt until he was quite older. Most of the clan was trained in skilled combat, but he only learned minor skills for defense, mainly focusing on healing abilities instead. Like many dragons, Patience left his birth clan when he was old enough to find or create his own. Only after a few moons was he taken in by Silhouetted Sickness, where he currently lives.
Personality: Patience is an extremely calm and gentle dragon. He rarely leaves the lair, as he is always caring for the hatchlings or telling whimsical, adventurous stories to members of the clan young and old. Patience also enjoys bonding with the familiars. He has a keen interest in the different creatures that live among them, so he enjoys feeding and studying them. He is one of the oldest members in the clan, and is one of the most respected.
In the face if danger or in the case of an angry comrade, Patience remains cool and calculating, often using his words to take control of the situation. This is needed quite a bit, especially with his troublesome mate, Marceline. Even with her rough personality, Patience loves her and the son they raised together, Cassus.
Patience is against aggressive fighting, and in battles or attacks only serves as a defensive healer. He only ventures from the lair to forage for fruits and vegetables, but never hunts for meat.

Additional Information:
*Patience always wears his pearl jewelry, which was forged by one of the elders in his birth clan. He still holds an emotional attachment towards the elders and his instructors, and the jewelry keeps them close.
