One of the founders of the Marrowguard. Braun's strength is beyond any other member of the clan and he has been known to physically show his dominance as Elite Guard. He and Zillen had known each other from when the gladiator patrolled the Wyrmwound. She had seen the courage he had to constantly put himself in danger of catching something from the cauldron of pestilence and decided to create a clan whose sworn job was to provide aid to those in the Scarred Wasteland.

Although definitely not the fastest of dragons, Braun definitely packs power behind every strike. His tactics include baiting out as many hits from his enemies as possible and, when fully ready, unleashing strikes with intensity. Many Serthis who have survived his hits call him the "Guardian of Emperors." A fitting name for a gladiator who uses brute force and fear to win battles.

Braun is a restless watch. He is rarely caught sleeping and is said to only ever rest when nobody knows where he is. A pouch of crushed bone dust is always kept close by him. Most times, the powder is massaged into his scales, causing a pain relieving effect for scars and wounds that are Leviathan Trench deep.
