She spent part of her life in a greatly troubled lair. Once she managed to leave together with her friend Mumei they wandered the wilds in search of a palce to gather new strength. A dragon of the clan Sulis Minerva came across them and invited them to his home to recover in peace. They hesitated, but once the stranger mentioned hot springs they agreed.

Mirak and Mumei spent quite some time relaxing in the baths and getting to know the clan members. But soon Mumei realised that she wanted to join the Lightweaver and left Mirak behind. Even though Mirak likes living with Sulis Minerva, she never really felt like she was part of it. She had one nest while living there, and her son Ludwig even stayed around for quite some time, but still she didn't feel at home. There was a restlessness in her that made her decide to leave again and search for that home she longed for. Now that she was at full strength and had brushed up upon her insect catching skills Mirak was confident that she was able to survive on her own for how ever long her journey would last.

She greatly enjoys eating insects and always samples a few of those she catches right away. Since Mirak experienced great hunger in the troubled lair has discovered eating and food as her new passions. But even though she doesn't eat them she greatly enjoys flowers as well and has taken a liking to herbal tea.
