"Record everything! I don't want to miss a single detail of my death!"
Technirius the crazed Coatl; he Mad Scientist; Plague's Bane ....................................................................... Technirius was born in the shadows, and found peaked curiosity in just about everything he saw. He always wanted to know more, to understand the world around him, and to comprehend the events that occurred in his presence. He moved to Lightning to study abroad, seeing as technology held one of many outputs for his seemingly insatiable intrigue. He grew accustomed to the way of life he lived in Lightning, and soon he was seen as a proper underling of the Stormcatcher. This didn't last, however. He was drawn away by a new fascination; the Plague. He obtained a morbid curiosity in the diseases that radiated from the Wyrmwound, and he soon moved to a Plague clan to further his studies. His goals have become twisted and maleficent in intent. He has become immune to most of the diseases that spill into the land around him, seeping into the earth and tainting his claws, and in doing so has become corrupt. He now wishes to stand against all plagues that shall wrought the land in rot and death, until the Plaguebringer, his new deity, creates a strand of the Contagion even she cannot last through. He expects this outcome to occur in his lifetime, and he plans to live to see the day the Plaguebringer falls in the beauty of her own twisted Contagion. And he would watch with a smile plastered on his marred, masked face. Technirius is a crazed dragon currently residing in Plague to further study the many strands of the Contagion. He holds a morbid curiosity in this "hobby" of his, and will do anything to survive the diseases that bombard him. He has faced death many a time, and each time he asks the Healers of the clan to record everything. If he happens upon a deceased form, he will often study the poor creature, scribbling notes into a leather-bound journal. Both Healers of the clan swear his ink just so happens to be the blood of the deceased, if not his own crimson life source. After all, how could a new slit suddenly appear in his "subjects"? He prides himself in the fact that he has escaped multiple plagues without a scratch. He saw only one failure, leaving his face a scarred ruin of it's former glory. This failure haunts the Coatl, sending echoes of doubt reverberating in his twisted mind. He hides this shameful scar with a half mask which he never removes. He has a Murktooth Bramblekeep named Bubon, after an old scroll of an ancient disease named the Bubonic Plague, having plagued creatures in an age lost to time. Bubon has not fared as well as his master, having the appearance of a rotten corpse, yet it seems that through some miracle, he still lives. He's lazy, and often lays upon Technirius, but in the end, he is Technirius's most intriguing find, a mystery he has yet to solve; A puzzle he has yet to crack. His mate, Wintersong, is the only one who seems to be able to calm the crazed Coatl into a seemingly sane state of mind. He's even sociable in this state. Her kind, pure heart is the only light in his morbid darkness, and that it shall stay.
